The Flight Park Service Centre

Drawing on over 30 years of paragliding experience, using the latest machines and testing equipment, the Flight Park provides a professional repair, re-pack, and testing service for individual pilots, clubs, and schools.

The Flight Park is currently open for services, reserves, and repacks.

We kindly request that you do not post/send or dispatch your equipment/kit without first securing a booking and second receiving a confirmation from our end. The Flight Park Services will not be held liable for any equipment/kit sent without prior notification and arrangement.

Glider Service Options

Standard

The standard service consists of porosity checks, line inspection, riser inspection, line load tests, sample trim check and material inspection.

Repair

Small repairs to gliders and harnesses can be made at the flight park. If the repair is extensive, then the damaged equipment can be sent to the manufacturers repair centre.

Trim

Full trim check where all lines are LAZER measured and checked with our custom trim sheet, where we inspect the overall trim and make the required adjustments.

Line Fit

All lines can be fabricated and fitted the price depends on the type and length of the line.

State-of-the-art Workshop

Laser track for line measurements and glider trim, for line lengths up to 9.5 metres with an accuracy of +/-1mm
  Large light inspection table for detailed glider canopy surface inspection
Hang-points and bar to suspend the entire wing for canopy inspection and line fitting
JDC Porosity meter with attachments for measuring porosity across the top and bottom surface of the wing, even with small cells
Tensiometer for line strength check
Betsometer to check material strength
Often in good weather, gliders are ground handled at the end of the service to ensure all-round service check

An estimated timeline is given at the time of booking.

Normal delivery within 10 working days.
Fast-tracked service for £25, completed with 2-3 working days.
Premium Free fast-tracked service for £35, completed with 1 day.

Detailed reports with every repack and service.

If during services, we find that repairs are required, then the delivery timescales may change.
